A projection mapping installation that makes the weight of immigration bureaucracy physically legible. Text fragments from personal narratives are projected onto embossed paper, with computer vision tracking the viewer's presence and the page itself.
OpenCV tracks the viewer and book in real time, keeping the projection aligned as each page moves.

Text was impressed into hand-shaped clay and reactivated through projected light. This sculptural study explored memory as both a physical trace and a shifting image, moving the project beyond the flat page.

A physical installation that makes the environmental cost of AI tangible through bodily effort. Participants crank a hand-operated generator to earn the energy for a single AI query, then receive a thermal receipt itemizing what the question actually cost in electricity, water, and carbon. Exhibited in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. C2A Best of Best.

An interactive multimedia installation reconstructing quarantine environments from the US to China. Four rooms in Boston, Tianjin, and Changchun were 3D scanned as point clouds and placed in Unity, where audiences trigger morphing transitions through their body contour via Kinect depth sensing. Diary texts and field recordings from quarantine windows immerse participants in memory and dreams, reflecting on the relationship between body and space, confinement and imagination.

A digital installation reviving ancient Buddhist dance forms from Dunhuang's cave murals. Motion data from mural drawings and professional dancers trains a machine learning model to generate new choreography, rendered as animated 3D visuals.

Drifting Cloud Diffused in Rumbled Night

An experimental installation projects animated forms from inside a large translucent dome, allowing fragments of light to emerge, drift, and disappear across its curved surface. By enclosing the projection within the object, the work makes light feel spatial, contained, and almost tactile.

An interactive projection experiment that treats the hand as both controller and subject. Kinect tracks its position in real time, allowing projected imagery to respond directly to gesture and creating a fluid exchange between physical movement and digital light.

A series of interactive projection experiments exploring the shifting boundary between the physical body and its digital double. Using Kinect-based tracking and generative visuals, gestures transform the body and surrounding surfaces into responsive canvases of light.

An interactive projection installation in which virtual animals trail visitors across the floor. A Kinect tracks each person’s position in real time; as they move closer, the animals gradually scatter and dissolve, turning an attempt at connection into disappearance.
